Advancing Foot & Ankle Surgery Through Hands-On Education

Phoenix Surgical Equipment is pleased to support a Pre-Congress Cadaveric Workshop in conjunction with the 2026 THOFAS Annual Meeting, bringing together 24 orthopaedic surgeons for an intensive hands-on learning experience in foot and ankle surgery.

The workshop will focus on two practical surgical techniques:

Distal Tibial Osteotomy (DTO)
A hands-on session exploring principles of supramalleolar realignment, surgical planning, and osteotomy technique for correction of ankle malalignment.

Endoscopic Plantar Fascia Release (EPFR)
A minimally invasive approach to plantar fascia release, with emphasis on endoscopic visualization, procedural steps, and surgical technique.

The program combines focused lectures, faculty demonstrations, and hands-on cadaveric practice, allowing participants to translate surgical concepts directly into practical technique.

With 24 surgeons working across 12 cadaveric lower limbs, the workshop is designed to provide meaningful hands-on exposure and close interaction with faculty.
