Corliber HercuRegen™ Fully Stepped Bioresorbable Bone Pin

Corliber HercuRegen™ Fully Stepped Bone Pin is a bioresorbable fixation solution designed to provide reliable temporary stabilization while supporting the body’s natural bone healing process. The fully stepped design allows controlled insertion and secure fixation, helping maintain alignment without the long-term presence of permanent metal implants. By gradually resorbing over time, HercuRegen™ eliminates the need for secondary removal surgery, supporting patient comfort and streamlined postoperative management.

HercuRegen™ regenerative composite is composed of 80 wt% L-lactide–DL-lactide copolymer (PL-DLLA) and 20 wt% hydroxyapatite (HA), combining mechanical stability with biological integration. During degradation, the material breaks down into lactic acid, calcium ions, and phosphate ions, which are subsequently metabolized into CO₂, H₂O, and new bone formation. This controlled resorption process demonstrates excellent biocompatibility while promoting bone remodeling, making HercuRegen™ an effective option for orthopedic applications requiring both fixation and biological support.
